Case study: Uber Centre of Excellence launch

Cogs & Marvel worked with Uber to launch their first Centre of Excellence outside of the US in Limerick, announcing 150 job opportunities to be filled by the end of 2016, with a further 150 in 2017, and investing €4 million in the city to make Limerick part of its network of customer service hubs. With a reputation that preceded the launch event, Uber wanted to deliver an event for press and VIP guests that reflected their brand in style and experience.

Turning from press briefing in the morning to evening launch party, we designed the space to fit with the evolving look and feel of the Uber office. We created a launch that celebrated the cities the Centre of Excellence would support, projecting animations of Uber city maps on the walls and installing screens around the venue that ran recordings from Uber rides internationally.
