Cogs & Marvel do Double at the micebook V Awards

Cogs & Marvel has been Highly Commended at the micebook V Awards for work with not one, but two astonishingly innovative clients, Adobe and Ocado Group

Ocado Re:Imagined was recognised in the Best Product Launch category. Ocado Group were already at the forefront of the online grocery industry when they approached us to produce a global hybrid event in January. Their aim was to inform and educate their priority audiences on their latest technological advancements, launching a step change in their sector. We were challenged to devise a compelling narrative with a suite of associated content to showcase their complex innovations and key messaging in an accessible way, all while consciously presenting the gutsy, pioneering spirit in the brand’s DNA. Ocado Re:Imagined received glowing headlines from the biggest media outlets, from Bloomberg, to Reuters to CNBC.

We also partnered with Adobe to design and execute our second iteration of Adobe Field Trip in 2021, and that was recognised in the Best Internal Communications Event category. After piloting a virtual event in 2020, we were challenged to think about a fresh approach to engaging families at home. Harnessing a broad array of Adobe products, we produced a completely original, half hour broadcast-quality childrens’ TV show and companion web-based experience that blended live-action with bespoke illustration, animation and music.

The online activity hub was rich with lessons, exercises, and videos, all as fun as they were educational. Post event metrics revealed that the engagement goal netted 138% of the expected audience, with multiple repeat visits from known households. Adobe community members applauded the thoughtful content, diverse set of talent, and in particular, the ASL presenter. This work was also Highly Commended in The Drum Experience Awards in 2021.
