Cogs & Marvel Named as Finalist in Ex Awards 2021

We are thrilled to be nominated as finalists in ‘The Best Use of Pandemic-Era Event Technology’ by Event Marketer’s 2021 Ex Awards + Experience Design & Technology Awards for our work on Adobe Field Trip 2020.

As the world’s largest recognition program for experiential marketing, the Ex Awards has shone a global spotlight on the power of brand experiences and the best use of face-to-face marketing. 

In 2020, with the goal of finding magic in a challenging moment, Cogs & Marvel set out to help participants of Adobe’s Annual Field Trip find inspiration right where they were, creating novel ways to bring the workforce community together, even when they had to stay apart.

We engaged Adobe’s employees and their families through a diverse programme of imaginative experiences, and they were guided through this hybrid live and virtual event via a custom app.

Adobe Field Trip is an annual opportunity to create goodwill among employees and their families, designed to promote Adobe’s culture-focused brand, products, and workplace in a thoughtful and educational way. The 2020 iteration of the Field Trip exceeded all expectations, so much so that Adobe came back to us in 2021.

It would have been too easy to just build on the previous year’s experience, so instead, we turned all of our work on its head, and started with a fresh canvas (and our team of multidisciplinary creatives). Check out the immersive programme we designed and delivered for Adobe Field Trip 2021.
